German care package

Any German living in the US can probably tell you that they miss German chocolate. One of my only conditions for my German friends when they come to visit and stay with us is simple and easy: bring chocolate!! With that, you can stay in our guestroom as long  as you like (well, eventually we will kick you out but it takes a while if we like you) and I will even cook and bake for you and show you all things Floridian :)

Jede/r Deutsche in den USA kann Dir sagen, dass er/sie deutsche Schokolade vermisst. Wenn meine deutschen Freunde mich besuchen kommen, habe ich nur eine einzige Bedingung: bringt mir Schokolade!! Dann koennt Ihr Euch so lange Ihr moechtet in meinem Gaestezimmer breit machen (na ja, irgendwann schmeissen wir Euch wohl raus, aber wenn wir Euch moegen, kann das schon eine Weile dauern), und ich werde sogar fuer Euch kochen und backen und Euch alles rund um Florida zeigen :)

Every once in a while I will get a great little package from Germany, filled with all kinds of goodies. My birthday a few weeks ago was one of those special days. One of my best friends in Germany sent me a huge care package filled to the top with chocolate and my birthday gift. We have known each other 20 years, it's hard to believe sometimes! Way back when New Kids on the Block was the cutest boyband around, my friend was looking for other fans to become penpals with. Oh yes... remember the days when we had penpals and we would actually sit down and HANDWRITE letters? I was a penpal geek. I had a ton of them, from Germany and from all over the world. And I do still keep in touch with a few of them! So I saw my friend's little penpal "ad" in a New Kids magazine (oh yeah, laugh if you;d like!), responded and she wrote back! Over the years she has become one of my best and closest friends in the world, and recently she has been visiting every 6 months, so we get to spend lots of giggly girl time together.  We both are no longer New Kids fans, but I still love to tell the story of how we met, mostly because it embarasses my girlfriend!

Zu besonderen Anlaessen erhalte ich ab und zu mal ein Paeckchen aus Deutschland das bis zum Rande mit tollen Sachen gefuellt ist. Mein Geburtstag vor einigen Wochen war so ein besonderer Tag. Eine meiner besten Freundinnen hat mir ein tolles Paket geschickt, dass mit Suessigkeiten vollgestopft war. Und ein Geburtstaggeschenk war auch noch mit drin. Wir kennen und schon seit 20 Jahren, kaum zu glauben! Damals, vor vielen Jahren, als New Kids on the Block noch die tollste Boyband aller Zeiten war, wollte meine Freundin andere Fans kennenlernen und Brieffreundschaften anfangen. Kennt ihr das noch? Als wir noch Brieffreunde hatten und richtige Briefe per HAND geschrieben haben? Ich war ein totaler Penpal Geek. Ich hatte ganz viele aus Deutschland und ueberall auf der Welt. Und mit einigen bin ich sogar jetzt noch im Kontakt :) Auf jeden Fall habe ich das Inserat meiner Freundin in einer New Kids Zeitschrift (oh ja, lacht nur!) beantwortet und sie hat mir sofort zurueck geschrieben! Mit der Zeit ist sie zu einer meiner liebsten Freundinnen geworden und da sie uns in den letzten Jahren alle 6 Monate besucht, koennen wir auch ganz viel Maedelzeit miteinerander verbringen, und dabei wie die Huehner gackern. Inzwischen sind wir beide keine New Kids Fans mehr, aber die Geschichte wie wir uns kennengelernt haben erzaehle ich immer noch gerne, hauptsaechlich weil ihr das etwas peinlich ist :)

There are so many other things that I miss from Germany... fresh rolls, German bread, the huge variety of honey, Quark (a type of fresh cheese), the various types of cheese and deli meats and so much more. It's funny how we associate food with home, at least I always do. I think I'll have a piece of chocolate now :)

Es gibt so viele Sachen, die ich aus Deutschland vermisse... frische Broetchen, deutsches Brot, die tolle Auswahl an Honig, Quark, die verschiedenen Sorten Kaese und Aufschnitt und so viel mehr. Irgendwie schon komisch, dass man immer an Essen denkt wenn man von der Heimat spricht, wenigstens geht es mir so. Und nun werde ich mir ein Stueckchen Schokolade goennen :)

Waiting for my birch box

So can I just tell you that I'm excited??

Do you know what a Birch Box is? I heard about this just recently, thought about it for a while, and then decided to just go ahead and sign up and see if I will get an invitation. Within one day of signing up, I received my invitation email, and so I am now ready to receive my monthly birch box through the mail. I know I know, it's been around since last year and I just discovered it now, but I barely ever know what's going on in the world around me with a full time job, a toddler and a hubby who has been on business trips over 50% of the time. Then Nick Jr without commercials is typically on TV so I don't see any ads for hip and hot stuff. (We have recently expanded to the Disney Channel)

If I didn't have my iPad I would never be able to catch up on any shows! The ABC Player app and Netflix are my best friends! And I wasn't reading any cool blogs and hadn't discovered Pinterest so I was clueless! 

I'm typically not someone to spend a whole lot of money on expensive cosmetics, skincare, etc. I just recently moved from mostly L'Oreal, Maybelline & Co to Clinique since I just love love love their cosmetics and skincare. And Happy.

Here is what you will get with your Birch Box subscriptions -  for $10 a month, you receive a pink box in the mail filled with about 4 - 6 samples. The samples are supposed to be generously sized and match a "beauty profile" that you fill out so you can receive items that you like and are configured for your type. If you like the samples, you can either fill out a postcard that comes with the box to order the full size version of any sample in your box or go online and order through the website. You also earn reward points each month you spend money - either by continuing your monthly subscription or buying products. You can use those points for the purchase of any product.

I figured I could give it a try and see if there are any products that will win me over with their charm. I like the fact that you can cancel your subscription any time, and shipping is free!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the two most amazing dads in the world...

Einen schoenen Vatertag wuensche ich den zwei besten Dads auf der Welt...

First... my dad... for always being there for our family, your support, unconditional love, guidance and being a better role model than any superhero or superhuman could be.

Zuallererst... mein Papi... weil Du immer für unsere Familie da bist, Deine Unterstützung, Deine bedingungslose Liebe, Deine Beratung in allen Dingen des Lebens, und dafür dass Du ein besseres Vorbild bist, als jeder Superheld oder Supermensch es jemals sein könnte.

And I'm only not celebrating a huge big deal with you and sending you cards, etc. because Father's Day in Thailand is celebrated on December 5th. It's in my phone calendar. With a 1 week reminder. And a loud alarm for the reminder.

Ich habe Dir übrigens keine Karte geschickt und auch kein grosses Trara um den Tag gemacht, da in Thailand Vatertag erst am 5. Dezember gefeiert wird. Den Tag habe ich mir natürlich im iPhone Kalender gespeichert. Der wird mich eine Woche vorher dran erinnern. Mit einem lautstarken Alarm. 

(Ha! I just love that bright green curtain and do you see those chairs on the right hand side?? And my poor mom looking like she is about to fall asleep and can't sit through one more picture! That's me on her lap btw and my older sis in the middle. Admit it... you had the same curtain. With the only difference that it was bright orange.)

(Ha! Ich liebe diese grüne Gardine, und seht ihr die Sessel rechts auf dem Bild?? Und meine arme Mami guckt als ob sie gleich einschläft und kein weiteres Foto durchhält. Ich bin übrigens die auf ihren Schoss, meine Schwester sitzt in der Mitte. Gebt's zu... Ihr hattet garantiert genau dieselbe Gardine. Mit dem einzigen Unterschied, dass Eure leuchtend orange war.)

Second but not last... my hubby... for sharing this amazing journey of parenthood with me, for being the most lovable, goofy, sweet, funny, caring, supportive, strong and kind father to our baby boy who is so lucky to have you as his daddy!

Und zum Schluss, was aber nicht heisst, dass er weniger wichtig ist... mein Hubby... dafür, dass Du diese geile und tolle Reise als Eltern mit mir angetreten hast, und dafür dass Du der liebste, drolligste, süßeste, lustigste, einfühlsamste und gütigste Vater bist... und ich weiss dass unser kleiner Junge sich einfach glücklich schätzen kann, Dich als Daddy zu haben!

Me and my sidekick

It's a mommy and Julian kind of morning. We all slept in (which means getting up at 8:30am!) and Julian made sure I opened my eyes because "Mommy, sun up!"

Hubby had to go to work so we just settled on the bed, cuddled and watched some TV.

Heute ist mal wieder Mami und Julian Tag angesagt. Wir haben alle schön ausgeschlafen (das heisst 8:30 für uns!) und Julian hat sichergestellt, dass meine Augen auch offen waren denn "Mami, Sonne auf!"

Hubby musste heute arbeiten, also haben wir es uns auf dem Bett gemütlich gemacht, schön gekuschelt und ein wenig ferngesehen.

We did our weekly FaceTime session with my parents in Bangkok and then it was almost time to have lunch already. Julian played with his new dump truck - he's been asking to get one forever. Whenever we drive by a big dump truck he sighs wistfully and says "Wish we had one of those." When I was  browsing Home Goods yesterday during my lunch hour, I found the cutest and biggest dump truck so of course I had to get it for him! I never thought I'd enjoy buying boy toys for my baby so much! 

What I love is that he has been asking to speak to his grandma and grandpa, so whenever I can, I'll just give them a quick call or just try to reach out via FaceTime. My dad is a tech geek, so most of the time his iPad is within his reach and we are almost always successful! Given we try it at the right time, which isn't always possible with a 12 hour time difference :)

Wir haben unsere wöchentliche FaceTime Session mit meinen Eltern in Bangkok gemacht und dann war's auch schon fast Zeit fuer's Mittagessen. Julian hat mit seinem neuen Müllauto gespielt, denn er hat sich schon seit Ewigkeiten einen gewünscht. Wenn wir an einem vorbeifahren, seufzt er ganz traurig und sagt "Wünschte wir hätten auch sowas." Gestern war ich während meiner Mittagspause ein wenig bei Home Goods einkaufen. Ich habe dieses riesige aber echt tolle Müllauto gefunden und musste es einfach kaufen! Also ich hätte ja nie gedacht, dass ich mal so gerne Jungspielzeug für mein Baby kaufen würde! 

Ich liebe es ja, dass er in letzter Zeit immer öfter fragt, ob er mal mit Oma und Opa reden darf. Wann immer es sich also einrichten lässt, rufe ich die beiden dann an, oder versuche es auf FaceTime. Da mein Papi ein totaler Technik Geek ist und sein iPad normalerweise immer in seiner Nähe ist, klappt das mit FaceTime meistens auch echt gut! Natürlich wenn es zeitlich auch passt, das ist bei einem 12 Stunden Zeitunterschied nicht immer einfach.

Work has been so crazy and busy recently that I haven't had much time to even get online, and when I get home at night I'm so tired that the last thing I want to do is sit in front of my lap top. I'm sure you know exactly how that is :) My team and I have been preparing for a big presentation next week so that's what I have been living and breathing recently and I'm anxious to get it over with Wednesday afternoon! 

Lunch was quick and easy today... salami sandwiches, green peas, potato leek soup and grapes. And now it's time for an afternoon nap :)

Auf der Arbeit ist es in letzter Zeit so hektisch und es ist so viel los, dass ich kaum noch dazu komme mal online zu gehen. Abends bin ich dann erschöpft und habe dann keine Lust mehr noch vor dem Notebook zu sitzen, das kennt Ihr sicher auch. Mein Team und ich haben uns in den letzten Tagen und Wochen auf eine grosse Präsentation vorbereitet und ich werde sooo froh sein, wenn wir es Mittwoch nachmittag hinter uns gebracht haben!

 Das Mittagessen stand schnell auf dem Tisch, es gab Salamibrote, Erbsen, Kartoffel-Lauch Suppe und Weintrauben. Und jetzt ist es mal wieder Zeit für ein Nickerchen :)

Tomorrow is Father's Day in the US, so we'll be hanging out with Daddy and spoil him!

Morgen ist hier in den  USA Vatertag, also werden wir mit den Tag mit Daddy verbringen und ihn verwöhnen!

Muffin Episode # 8 - Lemon Curd Muffins

I have been trying to be good lately and haven't baked very much.

Actually, I was just too lazy - errr, just didn't have time :)

Hubby was out of town almost all of last week, so Friday night my friends Shelly and Monica came over for a girls' dinner (plus my sidekick of course). I met Shelly and Monica about 12 years ago when we all lived in the same apartment complex way back when I was still in college. They lived downstairs, my ex and I lived upstairs. We were neighbors for a good 3 years, but got so close during those years of practically living together that we have stayed close ever since. 12 years later Monica and I are married, Shelly has a live in BF and even though we don't have much time to get together, our girl time together is always fun and makes us feel young and crazy again! (OMG do I sound like an old person now??) 

I looked through my favorite muffin cookbook, and stumbled across the Lemon Curd Muffins.

I've never had lemon curd before, but heard it's the new best thing next to whipped cream, and I found a jar of it at Publix, my favorite grocery store in the world. Ok, my favorite in Florida. One of these days I might have time to be a more crafty cook and actually make my own lemon curd, but until then - store bought rocks! Easy breezy!

I made my Italian Pork Roast the night prior and just had to heat it up in the oven before the girls came in. 

We had my new favorite roasted green beans as a side. And I had absolutely no time for pictures since we were too busy chatting and catching up! Not even any iPhone pictures!

Even these muffin pictures were from the next day - of course I had to save two so I could take pictures later so my baby and I could enjoy them again :)

Honestly, they were gone so fast as we ate them as they were still warm from the oven! Monica turned out to be the best babysitter ever, which is just awesome since she will be a first time mom in November - her and her hubby are adopting a baby! And Shelly hung out in the kitchen with me and helped me bake these lemony treats.

Why didn't anyone ever actually TELL me how great lemon curd REALLY is??

I'm typically not a lemon fan. I like lemon, but for example, I've never liked Key Lime Pie. Of course I can eat it if I have a craving for sweets and Key Lime Pie is the only dessert available, but I'm not a huge fan.

I guess I thought Lemon Curd wouldn't be any more exciting than Key Lime Pie?

I was so wrong! I can still almost smell and taste it! Tastes like sweet and tart little lemon drops :)

And here is the scrumptious recipe:

Lemon Curd Muffins

Makes 12 muffins

What you need:

2 cups all purpose flour

1 tps baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tbsp finely grated lemon zest

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 egg

2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup lemon curd

2 tbsp turbinado sugar

How to make them:

Preheat oven to 350ºF

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

2. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium high speed, beat granulated sugar, butter and lemon zest until light and fluffy. Beat in cream cheese until blended. Beat in egg, lemon juice and vanilla until blended.

3. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and gently stir with a wooden spoon until just blended. 

4. Divide half the batter equally among prepared muffin cups. Spoon 2 tsp of the lemon curd into the center of each cup of batter. Top with the remaining batter and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.

5. Bake in preheated oven for 22 - 24 minutes or until tops are golden brown and spring back when touched. Let cool in pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then transfer to the rack to cool.

Another year older... and roasted green beans

Hurricane season is definitely here in Florida! It has been hot and humid and raining almost daily! Soon we'll settle into the daily rhythm of beautiful sunny but hot and humid weather in the morning with crazy showers starting around 4pm in the afternoon. Oh yes, for some reason they always start around 4pm! At least in my corner of the world :) 

Die Hurrikan Saison ist wieder hier in Florida! Seit einiger Zeit ist es nun echt heiss und schwül und es regnet fast täglich. Bald wird das tägliche Spektakel so ablaufen - morgens sonnig und heiss aber schwül,  und nachmittags um 16:00 fängt es dann an wie aus Kübeln zu giessen. Oh ja, immer pünktlich um 16:00 passiert das in meiner Ecke der Welt!

I celebrated my 37th birthday this past Sunday but we took it easy and hung out at home, since Julian got sick Saturday morning. A case of the common cold... runny nose, crazy watery eyes, and a fever to top it off. BTW when the heck did I turn 37???? I can barely imagine myself past 28! I remember being in elementary school and thinking anyone past 25 was just an old fart, settled and married with kids and oh so boring. Ha, little did I know that life is just getting started at 25! Anyway, I have never seen my little busy bee so exhausted. He wasn't lethargic at all, but all he wanted to do almost all day was lay in bed and watch TV. So that's what we did. We even had breakfast and lunch in bed! My mom would so give me a lecture right now about eating in bed, but that's the beautiful thing about being an adult... I get to eat in bed (crumbs and all) whenever I want to!

Am Sonntag haben wir meinen 37. Geburtstag gefeiert, allerdings haben wir nichts grossartiges angestellt, da Julian Samstag morgen krank aufwachte. Er hat sich eine Erkältung eingefangen, die Nase lief, die Augen tränten, und das alles mit Fieber. 

Übrigens... wie ist das eigentlich passiert dass ich nun plötzlich 37 bin???? Ich kann mich mir selber kaum älter als 28 vorstellen! Als ich damals noch in der Grundschule war, habe ich immer gedacht dass man mit 25 schon alt wäre, verheiratet mit Kindern und unheimlich langweilig. Ha, ich hatte ja keine Ahnung dass das Leben erst so richtig mit 25 anfängt! 

Na ja, ich habe meinen kleinen Zappelphilipp echt noch nie so erschöpft erlebt. Er hat sich normal benommen, wollte allerdings den ganzen Tag lang nur im Bett bleiben und fernsehen. Und das haben wir dann auch gemacht. Wir hatten sogar Frühstück und Mittagessen im Bett! Meine Mutter wurde mir jetzt wieder eine Gardinenpredigt über das Essen im Bett halten, aber das ist halt das schöne am Erwachsen sein... Ich kann wann immer ich auch will im Bett essen! Mit Krümeln und allem drum und dran!

We started potty training Julian a little while ago and he has been doing great - just every once in a while when he gets very tired and insecure about something he asks for his diaper. Oh, and he still wears a diaper during nap time and over night. As part of the potty training, he gets little gifts when he successfully goes to the potty - about to wean him off gifts and start stickers on a board soon! Let's see how that goes... he just LOVES his presents!

Vor einiger Zeit haben wir damit angefangen Julian trocken zu kriegen. Er macht sich auch sehr gut, allerdings verlangt er nach einer Windel wenn er übermüdet ist oder sich unsicher fühlt. Und beim Nachmittagsschläfchen und nachts trägt er noch eine Windel. Wenn er es aufs Klo geschafft hat, hat er bisher immer ein kleines Geschenk bekommen - nun wollen wir bald damit aufhören und Aufkleber einführen. Mal sehen wie das klappt - natürlich liebt er naemlich seine Geschenke!

So we wake up late Sunday morning - Hubby asks me "Honey, would you like to open your presents now?"

Julian (totally excited) "Mommy you pee on potty?? You get presents???" 

Hahahaha!

Now wouldn't that be great?? I should suggest Phanit potty presents to hubby :) I can't complain though, I got spoiled with very very thoughtful and awesome gifts from everyone!

Sonntags morgen sind wir spät aufgestanden und Hubby fragte mich "Honey, möchtest Du jetzt Deine Geschenke aufmachen?"

Julian (total aufgeregt) "Mommy, Du hast auf dem Klo Pipi gemacht?? Du kriegst jetzt Geschenke???" Hahaha!

Na das waere ja mal was tolles! Ich sollte meinem Schatz mal Phanit Pipi Geschenke vorschlagen :) Ich kann mich allerdings echt nicht beklagen, alle waren wirklich lieb und aufmerksam und ich habe richtig tolle Geschenke gekriegt!

I got to continue celebrating at work with my awesome team and coworkers and was on a sugar high all day! Brownies, chocolate dipped strawberries, cake balls and my personal highlight - Salted Caramel Popcorn Creme Brûlée! Divine! Made by my very sweet coworker Chriss, our very own Martha Stewart. And it only got better with lunch with the girls, and dinner with my dear friend Shelly. I really don't mind getting a year older at all :)

In der Firma habe ich am nächsten Tag dann mit den lieben Kollegen weiter feiern dürfen, und war den ganzen Tag lang wegen Zuckerüberdosis total aufgekratzt! Brownies, in Schokolade getunkte Erdbeeren, Cake Balls und mein persönliches Highlight des Tages - Salted Caramel Popcorn Creme Brulee! Göttlich! Meine liebe Kollegin Chriss hat das für mich gezaubert - wir nennen sie unsere Martha Stewart. Dann wurde es noch besser, ich hatte Lunch mit den Mädels und abends habe ich dann noch mit meiner lieben Freundin Shelly essen. Ein Jahr älter werden macht mir übrigens echt nichts aus :)

So what does turning a year older have to do with roasted green beans?

Nothing. I just really wanted to eat them today!

Und was hat mein Geburtstag nun mit gerösteten Brechbohnen zu tun?

Gar nichts. Ich hatte einfach Appetit drauf!

I love oven roasting any kind of vegetable, it's so easy and always tastes wonderful to me. I've been roasting so many things in the oven recently, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, kale, asparagus, zucchini, butternut squash, parsnips... you name it. But I haven't tried green beans yet! I saw them on Delighted Momma the other day, and finally had a chance to make them tonight. Ohh.... they are soooo delicious!!

Ich liebe es, jegliche Art von Gemüse im Ofen zu rösten, es ist so einfach und schmeckt immer wundervoll. Ich habe in letzter Zeit so viel im Ofen geröstet, Kartoffeln, Süßkartoffeln, Blumenkohl, Brokkoli, Grünkohl, Spargel, Zucchini, Kürbis, usw. Aber mit Brechbohnen habe ich es noch nie versucht! Dieses Rezept habe ich letztens bei Delighted Momma entdeckt und bin heute mal dazu gekommen es auszuprobieren. Ohh... und sie sind ja sooo lecker!!

All you have to do is toss fresh green beans in olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste. Instead of garlic powder like Delighted Momma, I added Italian seasoning. Spread on a baking sheet.

Einfach eine Handvoll frische Brechbohnen in eine Schüssel geben, dazu Olivenöl, Salz und Pfeffer und mit den Händen gut mischen. Anstatt Knoblauchpulver wie Delighted Momma habe ich allerdings Italienische Trockenkräuter benutzt. Auf ein Backblech verteilen.

Bake in a 400ºF oven for about 25 - 30 minutes until nicely browned, turning once. 

Ca 25 - 30 min bei 400ºF im Ofen backen, und einmal umdrehen.

Serve immediately.

Sofort servieren.

You have to try these! They come out so yummy, soft and slightly crispy on the outside with a touch of sweetness. I couldn't stop eating them! (And I didn't... I ate the whole batch)

Das muesst Ihr unbedingt ausprobieren! Sie sind echt unheimlich lecker, weich und aussen ein wenig knusprig und ein wenig suess. Ich konnte mit dem Essen kaum aufhören! (Und ich habe auch nicht aufgehört... ich habe den ganzen Teller verputzt)

Strawberry Shortcake in a Jar

Strawberries always smell like summer to me! Even though the Florida Strawberry season is over (February is our big strawberry month), there are still some sexy California berries at the grocery stores. When I first moved to the US from Germany and saw the humongous strawberries we have in Florida I thought holy cow - I'm in heaven! I mean, have you seen them? They are huge! So everything IS bigger and better in the US! :)) And they are sweet and juicy, I admit I expected watery and bland.

I had such a craving for something sweet... something cake-y and something pudding-y (adding a "y" at the end of a word is such a bad habit.) Oh I love anything dairy! Give me a glass of milk, pudding, yogurt or whipped cream related and I'm happy! I had those round shortcake bottoms from the store, a bunch of strawberries waiting to fill my tummy, pudding, and whipped cream... I'm not opposed to cool whip but nothing beats the real thing :) so this is what I whipped up...

Ich finde ja das Erdbeeren einfach total nach Sommer riechen! Obwohl die Erdbeersaison in Florida bereits vorbei ist (bei uns sind Erdbeeren im Februar in Saison), gibt es immer noch echt huebsche Erdbeeren aus Kalifornien im Supermarkt. Als ich damals frisch aus Deutschland hierher gezogen bin habe ich die riesigen Erdbeeren hier gesehen und mir gedacht Wahnsinn – ich bin im Himmel gelandet! Habt ihr die Teile hier jemals gesehen? Sie sind einfach enorm riesig! Also ist wohl doch alles groesser und besser in den USA? :)) Und sie sind dazu noch supersuess und saeftig, ich habe mir eigentlich waesserig und geschmackslos vorgestellt.

Ich hatte einen Heisshunger auf etwas Suesses - etwas kuchenartiges und etwas puddingmaessiges. Ich liebe einfach alle Milchprodukte! Gib mir ein Glass Milch, einen Pudding, Joghurt oder irgendetwas mit Sahne und ich bin rundum gluecklich! Ich hatte kleine runde Tortenboeden vom Supermarkt da, die wie gegossen in die Einmachglaeser passten, einen Haufen Erdbeeren die nur darauf warteteten meinen hungrigen Magen zu fuellen, Pudding und Sahne... ich habe nichts gegen „Cool whip“ aber ich finde gegen richtige Sahne kommt nichts ran. Daraus habe ich also diese Leckereien gezaubert...

...so simple yet so satisfying!

... so einfach, aber so lecker!

Definitely a keeper.
